The Windsor Kindergarten is a well established
provision in the local area and occupies several rooms in the E.T.N.A
Centre and has access to an outdoor area. We are registered by Ofsted
for 40 children aged 2 to 5 years. At present a maximum of 30 children
attend per session and are supported by four members of staff. We are
registered to redeem both Nursery Education and Childcare Vouchers.
We pride ourselves on the range and
quality of the care and educational provision which delivers learning
through play. In fact we are probably the only private nursery in the
locality that is owned by a qualified teacher, being a very experienced
Ofsted Inspector and Early Years Consultant. The Kindergarten employs
mature, experienced staff and is managed by a qualified Early Years
Teacher. We operate a key person system with a high adult to child
ratio. We follow the Early Years Curriculum which covers all aspects
of Personal and Social Development, Communication, Language and
Literacy, Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy, Knowledge and
Understanding of the World, Creative and Physical Development.
The Nursery operates 5 mornings per week (9.15am –
12.15pm) during term time. The intention is to grow the provision to
accommodate more children and to offer afternoon sessions in the future.
