Windsor Kindergarten is situated in Central Twickenham and operates from
the Windsor and the Parish Rooms of St. Mary’s Church Hall. The
Kindergarten has access to a secure courtyard which is available to the
children throughout the session.
Windsor Kindergarten is registered by Ofsted for 38 children ages 2 to 5
years. 38 children attend the morning sessions (9.15 am to12.15 pm) and
14 children attend the afternoon sessions (1.15 pm to 4.00 pm) during
term time. The Kindergarten operates an After School Club for up to 24
children who are collected from St. Mary’s Infant and Junior School
sites. The Kindergarten also runs a holiday club during the summer
holidays.
The
Kindergarten operates a key person system with a high adult to child
ratio with curriculum planning to meet the needs of the individual
child. The curriculum covers all aspects of Early Years Foundation
Stage. Windsor Kindergarten is run by experienced, qualified and mature
staff. We are registered to redeem both Nursery Education and Childcare
Vouchers.

move around the areas and participate in a
wide range of activities on offer.

planning. Small group work also takes place at
this time, for example, maths games

children are invited to participate in snack time. They are
encouraged to have some fruit and a drink of water or milk |

play musical instruments at the end of the session. We often listen
to music throughout the session. |
