Times (Approximate)		9.15 a.m. to 12.15 p.m
9.15		Welcome and Free Play
		Receive children. A broad range of activities are available – sand/water, easel painting, books, role play, outdoor toys, drawing etc.
9.45		Carpet Time
		Children come together for a welcome session and discussion of the day’s activities. At this time we talk about our focus activity and what it involves.
10.00		Activity Time
		We launch our focus activity at this time – this may be a science activity, or an art technique or project or cooking. Activities are often offered based around a project. All other activities continue parallel to this. Some children may be involved in a small group activity with a parent e.g. a maths game.
10.15- 11.15		Snack Time
		Between 10.30 and 10.45 the children are invited to participate in snack time. They are encouraged to have some fruit and a drink of water or milk.
12.00		Story /Circle Time
		Children come together for story or circle time sessions. At this time children may discuss activities or topics. They are encouraged to participate in singing songs and listening to stories, which may tie in with current topics.
12.15		Session Ends

Activities are sometimes planned for children to listen to music, participate in music and movement sessions or play musical instruments at the end of the session. We do this at 10 am or 12.00., and we often listen to music throughout the session.

We also offer wrap around care from 12.15 pm to 12.45 pm where children bring a packed lunch to sit and eat with staff and friends.

Additional Sessions		£16.50

Fees are payable either each term or each half term in advance before the first session attended. Late payment may incur a 5% surcharge

Fees are reviewed annually

Please note that this is generally available for children from either the first or second term after their third birthday. Parents should verify this with Richmond Council who administer the scheme and who set the rates, which may vary from time to time. Other provisions apply for children who are “in need”.
