Windsor Kindergarten Registration Process We encourage all prospective parents to visit our settings in person and where possible bring their child with them. We recommend parents need to see us in action before making a decision. If parents/careers wish to register their child with us they need to complete a registration form.
There is a registration fee of £100, £75 being a deposit held against the final term’s fees and a non-refundable registration fee of £25. Upon receipt of the registration form and payment, an acknowledgement e-mail or letter is sent out and the child’s name entered onto the waiting list. Windsor Kindergarten tends to operate in academic years, with the majority of children starting in September and moving on in July. There are a minority of admissions outside of this time. In the summer term prior to entry, parents are contacted to inform them if a space is available and to discuss sessions. Once sessions have been agreed, the manager contacts families to arrange visits and start dates. In order to achieve this aim, we operate the following admission policy.
- We arrange our waiting list in order of registration, but give priority to currently enrolled siblings.
- Although we
always aim to accommodate children on their preferred sessions these are
not always available and therefore submitting a registration form is no
guarantee of a place. Should no place become available, the
registration fee (minus £25 administrative charges) will be refunded.
- Once a place
has been offered by the Kindergarten and accepted by parents, a further
deposit of £250 is payable which is held against the first term’s fees.
- Should
parents change their mind or circumstances change and they no longer
require the place, a term’s notice must be given or a term’s fees are
payable in lieu. This is included within our Terms and Conditions.
