Knowledge and Understanding of the World

The children are able to explore and experiment with a range of natural and man-made materials. They learn to observe the  features of objects and substances, recognize differences, patterns and similarities, and to share and record their findings. The children are assisted in exploring and understanding their environment, both within the group and also wider community. They also learn about their bodies and develop an understanding of personal hygiene and health issues.
